The town’s population is approximately 57,288 in the 2020 census. Huntersville provides access to Lake Norman and its 520 miles of shoreline where residents can find access to the lake by visiting Blythe Landing Park, off NC Highway 73 to launch boats and other recreational activities. There are several golf courses: They are the Arnold Palmer-designed Birkdale Golf Club, the semi-private Skybrook Golf Club, and the private Northstone Country Club.
